Nepal Minute - out of the ordinary

Football

Nepal will open their campaign at the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship with a match against hosts Bangladesh on February 3.

The tournament, also featuring India and Bhutan, will run until February 9, according to the schedule released by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) on Thursday.

Nepal meet Bhutan on February 5 and India on February 7. The top two teams in the single round-robin advance to the final on February 9.

The tournament, put on board in 2018 as SAFF U-18 Championship, was held in U-19 format in 2021 and reversed as U-18 2022. This is the first time the competition is being organised in the U-20 format.
