Lumbini All Stars recorded their fourth consecutive win in the Nepal T20 Cricket League after beating Far West United via Super Over in a match held at the TU Cricket Ground on Wednesday.
Lumbini are at the top of the points table with eight points from four matches.  Far West are fourth in the table with two points from three games.

Invited to make the first use of the crease, Far West scored 137 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. However, the match entered the tie-breaker when Lumbini were restricted to 137-9 at the end of their 20 overs.
    
Batting first in the Super Over, Lumbini posted 19 runs. Lahiru Milantha scored 15 runs and Shadley Claude van Schalkwyk made three runs, Far West conceding one run in extra.

Far West could only muster 10 runs, with Hasmatullah Shahidi making eight runs and Binod Bhandari scoring two. 

Earlier, Lumbini's Gulshan Jha scored the highest unbeaten 36 runs in the regular innings. He hit three fours and a six off 24 balls. Similarly, Lahiru Milantha added 34 runs and Bipul Sharma added 31 runs.
    
Far West's Karan KC and Sher Malla took two wickets each, while Rashid Khan, Umair Ali Hasmatullah Shahidi and Bhuvan Karki took one wicket each.

In reply, Far West’s Dev Khanal scored 48 runs – the highest of the match – in 42 balls with five fours. Captain Hasmatullah Shahidi scored 32, Bhim Sarki scored 15, Karan KC scored 12 and Hasim Ansari and Binod Bhandari scored 11 runs each.

Lumbini's Van Schalkwyk took two wickets, while Harmit Singh, Kishore Mahatto and Sagar Dhakal took one wicket each.
