Three persons were killed and one person was injured landslide caved in on a small house in Bhulu of Turmakhand Rural Municipality-2 in Achham Sunday night.

According to Bisworaj Marasini, the chief district officer of Achham, all three of them who were asleep in the same home, were buried in a landslide.

The identities of the deceased have yet to be ascertained. However, those killed are two men and a woman.

As the landslide-hit area is in a distant zone, it was difficult to establish communications there, police informed. 

According to the Achham District Police Office, a police team was mobilised in the area last night but the team had not reached out to the site till this morning.
