The PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) Grand Finals on Friday. The final event of the 2022 PUBG Mobile Competition features 16 teams who will be competing for a prize pool of $1.5 million. 

Two Nepali teams will compete in the three-day competition in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. Trained to Kill (T2K) won the berth to the finals by directly securing the third spot in the Group stage, whereas DRS Gaming qualified the hard way, after playing two more stages from the Last Chance stage.

The League stage were held from November 10 to December 4 in Kuala Lumpur, with 48 best teams from the world vying for the finals. But only 14 teams advanced to the finals. Two teams were invited directly by PUBG Mobile making it a competition of 16.

Each participating team are eligible for a reward of $20,000. The winner will get $400,000 richer while the second will get $200,000 richer. The third will bag $120,000 from the event.

Nepali teams Trained to Kill (T2k), DRS Gaming and Skylightz Gaming secured their berths in the League Stage of the global championship with impressive results in the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Championship Fall 2022 in October.

But Skylightz Gaming could not make it to the finals after a poor performance in the Kuala Lumpur event.

A total of six matches on three different maps will be played on each day of the event. According to a community post made by PUBG Mobile Esports on YouTube, the match order will be Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Erangel, Miramar, and Erangel.
