The government on Thursday issued transfer and posting orders for 17 Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of Nepal Police.

Following the Home Ministry decision, the Nepal Police headquarters has transferred Shyam Lal Gyawali from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to Province-1.

Kiran Rana has been posted to the TIA.

Basant Kunwar, who has been stationed at the Directorate of Operations at the headquarters, goes to Madhesh Province. 

Similarly, Deepak Thapa has been transferred from the Police Head Office to Bagmati Province Police Office, Hetauda.

Buddhiraj Gurung has been posted to Gandaki Province, and Bhim Prasad Dhakal to Karnali Province.

Ashok Singh has been given the charge of Sudurpaschim Police Office, Dhangadhi.

Likewise, Madhesh Police chief Masaud Alam Khan has been transferred to the Valley Police Office, Ranipokhari.

Poshraj Pokhrel, who has been working in Karnali Province, goes to the Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police.
