The Karnali Provincial government took a full shape on Wednesday, as Chief Minister Rajkumar Sharma expanded the Council of Ministers and assigned the responsibilities of the ministers.
The seven-member Cabinet comprises four ministers from the CPN (Maoist Centre) and three from the CPN-UML, including the chief minister.
CM Sharma administered the oath of office and secrecy amid a function on Wednesday.
Mangal Bahadur Shahi has been appointed Minister for Physical Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources; Krishna GC is Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, and Bhim Prakash Sharma Minister for Land, Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives from the Maoists.
From the UML party, Binod Kumar Shah has become Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning; Tekraj Pachai Minister for Social Development and Sher Bahadur Budha has assumed responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forestry and Environment.
