Kurintar, the small town along Prithvi Highway, has one more attraction: a brand new zip-line.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, inaugurated the zip-line at the River Fun Beach Resort at Kurintar on Monday. DPM Shrestha who reached Kurintar Sunday evening inaugurated the zip-line service at 10.30 am on Monday.

He also had a ride of the zip-line, said Shankar Adhikari, the company’s managing director.

"I am getting a new and thrilling experience riding a zip-line," DPM Shrestha said, sharing about his experience of zip-line ride.

The resort constructed at an investment of around Rs30 million offers various adventure tourism services such as zip-line, rope cycling, wall-climbing, rafting, and speed-boating.
