Nepal Minute - out of the ordinary

Arts

An art exhibition titled ‘Impression’ is showcasing a variety of art works by young students at Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal, Kathmandu.

The exhibition, organised by the Department of Designs at Kathmandu University School of Arts, showcases more than a hundred artworks by young students dreaming to create even better works of art in future.

A total of 27 students, currently in their final year of Bachelor of Fine Arts, have expressed themselves in artistic ways using creative methods – using different materials to make their arts.

The Department of Arts has produced new generations of artists for nearly two decades now. It has been holding the exhibition regularly since the beginning of the bachelor’s programme at the university.
