Nepal Minute - out of the ordinary

Nepal

A new bus park has been opened at the Malangawa municipality in Sarlahi, the district in Madhesh Province.

The facility constructed under the government project cost approximately Rs 60 million.

According to Sarlahi's Chief District Officer, Thaneshwor Gautam, the project was implemented by the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction, Janakpurdham.

The bus park is said to be well-equipped.

The need of the additional bus park was highly realized as the old bus park that lies in Malangawa-9 becomes congested with the expansion of urbanization and increasing flow of vehicles.

The facility equipped with a terminal building is likely to come into operation soon, the CDO said.
