The Beni-Jomsom road linking the northern area of Myagdi with the national highway has been obstructed by landslides.

As a result, supply of daily essentials has been disrupted while mobility of tourists, local people and pilgrims is affected.

The 76-kilometer road has been disrupted following landslides at various places including Guithe, Jalthale, Titar, Dana and Rupse in Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 in Myagdi, said Indra Singh Sherchan, supervisor for the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road project.

Repair on the road with the mobilisation of the project workers is underway, he said.
