Realme launches two new smartphones in two different price ranges in Nepal on Sunday, August 21. 

Realme one of the fastest growing smartphone brand in Nepal and worldwide has released Realme C30 and Realme 9 Pro 5G to cater for the ”youths in Nepal”.

C30 which falls in the entry-level segment and 9 Pro 5G which falls in the mid-range segment, are offered to “democratize cutting-edge technology” and to provide “the best technology” in each price segment. 

Realme Nepal in its press release said: “Realme 9 Pro 5G offers flagship camera performance and industry-leading light shift design. Realme C30 features a new ultra-slim vertical stripe design, one of the thinnest & lightest smartphones.”

Munish Giri, country head of Realme Nepal wrote in the release: “With the C Series, we focus on bringing the smartphones that have the ultimate blend of technology and design and are not heavy on the users’ pockets.”

He added: “With the Realme 9 Pro 5G, our aim is to expand our Number series [that means models named by number] and bring premium features to the masses.”

What is in Realme C30

Even being an entry-level smartphone, C30 features an “ultra-slim vertical stripe” design that makes it comfortable to hold and look. It is one of the thinnest and lightest smartphones in its price range. 

Ultra-fast storage (UFS) 2.2 flash storage combined with 5G capable Unisoc T612 chipset and 5000 mAh battery allows users to enjoy fast and “nonstop activity”. The phone houses an 8MP rear AI camera in the rear camera bump and a 5MP front camera in its front teardrop.
Realme claims, the phone can last whopping 45 days on standby with a single full charge.

Pricing

Coming in two colour variants and three storage variants, Realme wants to serve customers in multiple price ranges.

Realme Nepal says the price starts from NRs 13,499 to NRs 15,999 and will be available in Daraz and other offline retailers as well.

What is in Realme 9 Pro

One of the most powerful smartphones in the mid-range line-up, the 9 pro combines the power of the Snapdragon 695 5G processor with a 120Hz “ultra-smooth” display for better gaming and content consumption.

The sleek phone with “industry-leading light shift design” has a 64MP triple camera setup on its back camera bump and a 16MP wide-angle front-facing camera in its punch hole.

5000mAh battery and 33W dart charging will relieve the battery anxiety. Realme claims a full charge can last 581 hours on standby and takes 27 minutes to charge zero to 50 percent. 

Pricing

Offered in two colours and Aurora Green and Sunrise blue, the phone has only one storage variant 8/128GB for NRs 38,999.
