Top officials from Asia’s tiger range countries are congregating in the Russian city of Vladivostok this coming week to assess their achievement in doubling tiger population 12 years after they pledged to do so.

But Nepal’s top official will be absent in the 2nd Global Tiger Summit. Minister for Forests and Environment Pradip Yadav has cancelled his official trip scheduled for Vladivostok, Russia.
He was scheduled to attend the second Global Tiger Summit convening in the city on coming Monday.
