Miss Nepal 2010 Sadichha Shrestha and professional kick-boxer Raul Moktan have tied the knot amidst a glittering-yet-traditional ceremony held in Kathmandu, Tuesday.

The venue booked for the July 5 reception, which was reportedly held on the same night, was the Silver Oak Banquet and Events in Gairidhara.

Raul Moktan is the co-founder and executive director of Gymkhana Muay Thai, a fitness gym in Kathmandu.

Sadiccha Shrestha was crowned Miss Nepal in 2010.

She also won other titles including Miss Personality, Miss Best Walk and Miss Photogenic in addition to the winning title, making her the contestant with the highest number of subtitles won.

Sadiccha is currently the host of Banking Shikshya and was also the host of a show called Dancing With Stars season one and two.

Moktan, a professional boxer, has been involved in Muay Thai for over ten years now. He has also won two gold medals at the Indian Kickboxing Championship and has also become the WPKA (World Pan Amateur Kick Boxing Association) Champion in the 65 kilograms category in Greece.

Moktan is amongst the first Nepali athletes to introduce Thai martial art Muay Thai in Nepal.

The couple represent different fields, yet they seem best in their own respective fields.

Sadiccha Shrestha is also a gold-medal winner in her MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, while Raul Moktan holds two gold medals in Indian Kick Boxing Championships.
