Birgunj metropolis has launched its drive to remove unauthorised structures constructed by encroaching upon a public road.
In this connection, the metropolis has issued a 35-day public notice to remove the huts and structures built unlawfully in the first phase.
Mayor Rajesh Man Singh shared that the public notice was issued calling for clearing off the unauthorised houses and huts in the areas for road expansion.
The notice was issued to evict the illegally-built structures along both sides of the road from Gandak Chowk to Shankaracharya Dwar via powerhouse, Ghantaghar, Maisthan, Mahabirsthan, Adarshanagar, Alakhiya Mathm Birta temple, Narayani hospital, Birgunj custom office. --RSS
