Renowned Indian mystic, Sadhguru, has started his Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra from northwestern Nepal, arriving in Humla on Friday.
He's due to pay homage to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, two important pilgrimages for people of several faiths, which are located on the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China, which remains closed for visitors because of China's strict Covid restrictions.
A helicopter had been chartered for the newest version of Sadhguru's annual pilgrimage.

He will be travelling to Limi Lapcha and will pay obeisance to Kilash Manasarovar from Lapcha Bhanjyang of Humla, said Sita Pariyar, the chief district officer in Humla.
China has imposed a travel ban to Kailash Manasarovar since the outbreak of COVID-19.
CDO Pariyar said Sadhguru is arriving Humla to pay homage to Kailash Manasarovar from Humla's territory. It is said all preparations have been made in Humla for the visit.
It has been reported that Sadhguru will be accompanied by a group of more than 40 people.
His team will take a helicopter from Pokhara and directly land at the Simikot airport, according to the Trekker Society, a travel company that has taken responsibility for Sadhguru's travel.
