Nepal T20 League is all for the September 24 start, with the six franchises completing their draft picks. The teams will compete in a double round-robin format over 29 days at the Tribhuvan University cricket ground.

Biratnagar Super Kings, Far Western United, Janakpur Royals, Kathmandu Gorkhas, Lumbini All Stars and Pokhara Avengers are the teams in the fray for the inaugural edition of the league event.

Under the competition rules, each team can have 16 players on the roster, 11 of which have to be Nepalis and five foreigners. They are allowed to field a maximum of four foreign players in the playing eleven.

The auctions were held over two days by dividing players into three categories: A, B and C.

Nepali players carried price tags of Rs1.5 million, Rs1 million, and Rs500,000, while their counterparts from overseas were listed at $40,000, $20,000, $12,500 respectively.

The first round of draft held on Saturday saw Pokhara Avengers splash out big, securing services of two marquee players- Mohammad Asif Sheikh and Sharad Veswakar. Other teams opted for only one big name player.
