Nepal is not unknown to social media influencing. The digital era has made everything accessible right at our fingertips.

A lot of internet users use different social media applications. The social media users follow many national and international celebrities and influencers as they get attracted to the things that influencers do.

Because of this, many brands and companies collaborate with known faces and celebrities for branding and marketing purpose as well. 

While doing our research on Instagram influencers in Nepal, we found out that the female  influencers have larger number of followers than the male celebrities or male influencers. 

Here, we have listed out top Nepali 10 Instagram influencers who have large number of followers on Instagram. The ranking, done on July 11, 2022, is subject to change as social media followers keep changing their behaviours.

1. Aditi Budhathoki

Actress Aditi Budhathoki is a model and top Instagram influencer of Nepal. She is well known for Kri (2018), Karan Sehmbi: Apna Banauna (2021), and Darshan Raval: Hawa Banke (2019). Her Instagram bio introduces her as “just a normal girl, living in her own world Mumbai ’’.

She has two million followers and she is following 784 accounts. She has 1,331 posts on her Instagram.

2. Priyanka Karki

Actress Priyanka Karki is a very popular Instagram influencer with one million followers who shares her latest pictures, content, and stories with her fans. She is a Nepali actress, former Miss Teen Nepal, VJ, a model, and a dancer.

Her Instagram has over 3,831 posts with 1,003 following. Her Instagram bio introduces her as "Have courage and be kind."

Priyanka Karki is a talented and beautiful Nepalese actress who has been drawn to the glamorous world since she was a child. She has won numerous titles in beauty pageants and in her film career; she has worked in numerous films and received numerous awards.

3. Swastima Khadka

Swastima Khadka is a Nepalese film actress and a model with one million followers. She is one of the most popular and versatile film actresses and music video models in Nepal. She is following 508 accounts and she has 885 posts on Instagram.

She is featured in a number of music videos before she debuted in the youth college drama film Hostel Returns. 

4.Shrinkhala Khatiwada

Shrinkhala Khatiwada is an architect and Nepali beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Nepal 2018. She has one million followers with over 980 posts on Instagram. She is following 1,438 accounts.

She has represented Nepal in Miss World 2018 in China, where she won Multimedia Award and Beauty with a Purpose Award. Her Instagram bio introduces her as “Discovering.” She enjoys writing, reading, travelling, and trekking. Her dream is to be the first lady prime minister of Nepal.

5. Aanchal Sharma

Aanchal Sharma is considered to be a "very talented, beautiful, and trending" actress in the Nepalese Movie industry with 738K followers. She has followed 349 accounts and 466 posts can be seen. Her Instagram bio introduces her as “Light-hearted.”

She has worked in a number of movies, music videos, and advertisements. People love her music videos and movies. She has been crowned as the title of Miss +2 in 2015.

6. Namrata Shrestha

Namrata Shrestha is considered to be one of the most prolific Nepali actresses. She's also a model. She has 665K followers on Instagram. She has 751 posts and has followed 229 accounts. Her Instagram bio introduces her as “Actor/Film Maker/Entrepreneur”.

She debuted with Alok Nembang’s “Sano Sansar” in 2008, which was a watershed moment in the Nepali movie industry, ushering in the era of digital cinema and modern urban storytelling.

7. Samragyee Rajya Laxmi Shah

Actress Samragyee Rajya Laxmi Shah is a model and award-winning Nepali actress. Shah made her film debut in Bhuwan KC's 'Dreams' in 2016. The Instagram bio introduces her as "Founder @papbysrls,".

She is following 1,412 accounts and has 656K followers with 195 posts. She is first runner up in the ‘Face of Classic Diamond jewelers’ fashion competition

8. Shristi Shrestha

Shristi Shrestha is a Nepali actress and Miss Nepal World 2012 winner who works in Nepali cinema. Shrestha has won numerous awards, including the National Film Award, the Kamana Film Award, and the Dcine Award. She has 628K followers and 603 posts with 666 following on her Instagram. 

9. Keki Adhikari

Keki Adhikari is a professional model and a Nepalese film actress. She has appeared in a number of music videos, television commercials, print advertisements, and more than a dozen Nepali films. She began her career by appearing in several music videos before making it to the big screen.  

Her Instagram bio introduces her as “Do what you love; Love what you do”. She has 580K followers with 917 posts. She has 744 followings on her Instagram.

10. Asmi Shrestha

Asmi Shrestha is a Nepalese model and former Miss Nepal. She won the Miss Nepal 2016 beauty pageant and represented Nepal at the Miss World 2016 pageant. Shrestha won the Face of Classic Diamond Jewelers competition in 2014 before competing in Miss Nepal.

She has 484K followers on her Instagram. She is following 1541 accounts and has 1496 posts. Her Instagram bio introduces her as  a “Fashion Model who is also an Interior Designer”. She loves posting about Home and Garden, Parenting, and Lifestyle.
