Nepal have announced a 23-member national squad to play an international friendly match against Bangladesh. The match is scheduled at the Dashrath Stadium on September 27.
National team head coach Pradeep Humagain announced his picks for the international friendly at a news conference organised by the All Nepal Football Association in Satdobato, Lalipur on Thursday.
Coach Humagain has drafted in young forwards Hrithik Khadka and Ashish Chaudhary but veteran Navayug Shrestha failed to find a place in the squad. He also left out Sunil Bal, Awas Lamichhane, Sanjok Rai, Abhishek Rizal, Bharat Khawas and Ayush Ghalan from the team.
He has included four goalkeepers, saying that he was forced to do so because of an injury issue in the team.
