Two-way traffic resumes on Narayangadh-Muglin road
The 36 km road section reopens for traffic from both directions on Thursday evening
The Narayangadh-Muglin road section has been opened for traffic after road workers cleared landslide debris.
Workers from the Department of Roads worked throughout Thursday to clear debris at Kerabari and Atharakilo in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29, according to the police said. The landslide debris at Kerabari was removed at 5:50 pm, while the one at Atharakilo was cleared at 6:20 pm.
The 36 km road section had remained closed for much of the day after a landslide occurred at Satrakilo in Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-29 around 8:20 am.
The Narayangadh Muglin road section has been blocked by landslides more than two dozen times this year. - RSS
