Nepal Minute - out of the ordinary

Nepal

Traffic movement along the Bhimdatta Highway, which was obstructed due to landslide triggered by incessant rains, has resumed from Monday afternoon.

The highway was blocked due to a landslide that occurred at Godavari Municipality-4 in Kailali district.

A team comprising security personnel, locals, and drivers removed the landslide debris and resumed the traffic along the highway, said DSP Bed Prakash Joshi at the Kailali District Police Office.

Vehicular movement has now started  along the road section, which connects seven hilly districts of the Sudurpaschim Province.
