The Armed Police Force (APF) clinched a gold medal in women's 'team foil' in fencing at the ninth National Games, on Thursday. 

In the final contest of fencing – women’s team event – at the Pokhara Stadium, the APF defeated Bagmati Province  45-36. 

The victory gave the APF their second gold medal in fencing at the Games. Gandaki Province and Tribhuvan Army Club won bronze. 

Bagmati have topped the fencing medals table with four gold and two silver. TAC are second with three gold, five silver and seven bronze medals. The APF are third with two gold, three silver and six bronze. 

Sudurapschim and hosts Gandaki are in the fifth and sixth positions in fencing medals table.  - RSS
