A special function was organised at Police Headquarters, Naxal, to celebrate 67th Nepal Police Day
Nepal Police celebrated its 67th Foundation Day on Monday, October 17.
A special function was organised at Police Headquarters in Naxal, where senior officials including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and Inspector General of Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh and others were present.
Police Day is celebrated every year to commemorate the day when the Nepal Police Act,1955 was enacted.
The families of policemen who lost their lives in the line of duty were also honoured at the function.
