Tribhuvan Army Club and Armed Police Force riders won one gold apiece in women’s and men’s cycling individual time trials under the ninth National Games.

Army’s Usha Khanal won the gold in the women’s competition and APF Suraj Ranamagar won gold in the men’s section on the Yamdi-Hemza road section of Pokhara.

Khanal completed the predefined 20 km course in 38 minutes and 31.410 seconds. Ranamagar came home in 34:04.30 seconds.

APF’s Humi Budhamgar won the silver medal, clocking 42:2.886 seconds. Army’s Manju Kumari Khadka took bronze in 42:55.962 seconds.

Army rider Himal Tamata claimed silver in 36:45.419 seconds, while APF’s Laxman Malla took bronze, clocking 36:50.44 seconds.

Downhill, cross-country, and individual time trial categories have been completed at the Games. 
A road race final take place between Hemja and Pokhara on Wednesday. Eight male and female riders are vying for the top honours under four categories.
