Tribhuvan Army Club became the first team to hold aloft the running trophy after they finished atop the medal standings of the ninth National Games.
The Army won a record 371 medals – 172 gold, 110 silver and 89 bronze – to become the overall champions for their third consecutive time.
They took the lead in standings from Day 1 and maintained their dominance throughout the games.
The APF were a distant second with 219 medals – 65 gold, 73 silver and 81 bronze, while the NPC stood third with 195 medals – 61 gold, 61 silver and 73 bronze.
Hosts Gandaki Province finished ahead of Bagmati in the fourth position with 120 medals – 32 gold, 31 silver and 57 bronze. Bagmati were fifth with 145 medals – 24 gold, 47 silver and 74 bronze.
