Around 30 Hero XPulse riders set off on a 900km tour to Lomangthan as part of a scheme introduced by the Nepal General Marketing Pvt Ltd, the official dealer of Hero Motorcycle for Nepal, aimed at promoting domestic tourism in the country.

Avik Jyoti, the company president, formally launched started the journey by flagging off the rider from the Hero's showroom at Teku on Wednesday.

Under the scheme, customers who purchased Hero XPulse 200 motorcycles recently were invited to the tour.

"The riders will take on a 900-km journey from Kathmandu-Pokhara-Lete-Jomsom-Muktinath-Lomangthan," the company said in a statement.

Speaking on the occasion, Jyoti requested all the tour participants to ride their bikes in a disciplined manner with caution while wishing them a safe and successful journey.
